Waldfogel's dream gift card: Yiftee. A creation of two friends, and backed by Mastercard, Yiftee (unfortunately this means "Gypsy"' in Greek) allows you to choose a gift, pay for it, and have your friend pick it up / schedule delivery. If they don't like it, they can swap it for something else. We like the feature which allows for unspent gift value to return to the sender's account after 12 months, and the "Support Local Businesses" message, however we're not convinced about the security features of this product.

We applied, and were granted Electronic Transaction Association scholarships, courtesy of First Data, to attend the Transact 2015 conference at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco.

While in San Francisco, we had the opportunity to pitch our database concept to several Fortune 500 companies, build upon existing relationships, and visit a few companies in Silicon Valley.
